COMPANY HISTORY

The founder started his activity in 1993 as an individual entrepreneur, mainly by cutting machine components, machine parts, and spare parts for automobiles. In the early years, the profile was medium series production with traditional cutting machines.

At the beginning of the 2000s, medium series production was replaced by individual and small series parts production in order to satisfy the requirements of new customers. The breakthrough in the life of our company came in 1999, when we were able to establish a supplier relationship with an automotive company with Japanese interests that established a production base in Hungary.

This supplier status has been unbroken and decisive for us since 1999.

As a result of the increased demands, not only the number of employees, but also our machine park has continuously increased. Therefore, our company moved to a 250 square meter site in order to ensure the conditions for technical and staff expansion.

In the middle of the 2000s, the range of activities expanded further, in the form of the production of individually designed assembled devices and components.

At the end of the 2000s, despite the economic crisis, we invested in machine park development. The purchase of precision machines enabled us to prove ourselves in the prototype production necessary for the development of new technologies appearing at our customers during the crisis. At the same time, we also continuously improved our measurement and control skills. Measurements with a 3D coordinate measuring machine have appeared at our company.

KOVGA-FAM Kft. was founded in 2010. As a result of technical developments and in order to satisfy the customer's needs at a higher level, we expanded our production profile to include the production of precision inspection components and devices.

From the second half of the 2010s, we have been able to undertake complete production in the field of precision components and devices. Our machine park and our measurement capabilities have been further expanded, 4-axis CNC machining machines, C and Y axis CNC lathes and precision wire EDM technology have appeared in our machine park. Our measurement and control capabilities have been expanded with a 3D CNC coordinate measuring machine and a measuring laboratory.

The quality assurance system according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard was built. Our team of specialists is well-educated, young and experienced.

In 2023, we added a new production site to our settlement. A production base of 1100 m² was created. Our goal was to create a modern, high-quality production and workplace environment.

Our future plans include the integration of new, modern technologies into our activities and the maximum utilization of the capacity of our existing site.
